ENCHANTED MATERNITY
I was asked by a friend to photograph her beautiful bump. I normally don’t do portraits but motherhood is a beautiful stage and I really wanted to capture it, in my style of course. I have a feeling this will not be my last time photographing a mother to be.
The setting was outside, a cute cozy garden. The luscious green background stood out in my mind as I worked, I could envision the enchanted feel for the final photographs. I was right, and not to mention the mother to be was radiant.
Although my job as an artist it to tell a creative story, I think I got lost in the story of this family. They are anxiously awaiting their little bundle of joy and a little girl will be a big sister and I can see I captured her excitement in these photographs.
I’m not a portrait photographer but visual photo telling is my thing. This is why I decided to try this, yet I’m sure there are several things I can get better at. Yet, I loved this photoshoot and has inspired me to do it in the future, well maybe.
