PIN UP THEMED: PLAYING DRESS UP IS ALWAYS FUN
Planning my wedding was not the only thing that was fun. Looking for the outfits for my pin-up themed bachelorette party was in itself, so much fun. Lots of quality time with the girls brainstorming ideas. I believe my bridal party and close friends had fun dressing up. Who doesn’t like playing dress up?
I’ve always liked the fashion of past decades. Pin up was such a fun style that women always looked gorgeous in. The hairstyles the makeup and clothes were just plain sexy!
One of my close friend’s passion is hair, so she recreated those beautiful hairstyles. Finding outfits wasn’t hard, a little internet searching for ideas, a few trips to the mall and we were done. Going through the photos is making me want to dress up like that all over again.
Planning for the party I realized that the bachelorette & bachelor parties are more for your friends than for yourself.
Hubby and I wanted a joint party so that we could all celebrate together. We pretty much share friends and we’re a fun group. When we suggested it to our friends, there were several on both sides girls and guys that rejected the idea. They wanted to party without their significant others. In the end we had our party on the same night, started in the same place, divided all to come back together at the original starting place, our home.
Whether you are celebrating with your girls or sharing a coed last hoorah party, make it fun. I know we both did. We vowed not to discuss the parties, but I can always share the before photos.
